Alessia advises individuals and businesses across Switzerland and internationally on a broad range of Swiss immigration matters. Her practice encompasses work and residence permit applications, family reunification, permanent residence applications and Swiss citizenship matters.

She supports clients with the immigration aspects of international mobility, including local hires, cross-border relocations, changes of status and permit renewals. Alessia also advises on refusals and administrative appeals, delivering clear, strategic and tailored advice in complex matters.

Before joining Richmond Chambers Switzerland, Alessia gained valuable experience at several law firms in the canton of Vaud, where she developed a strong foundation in legal research and case management.

She also served as an ad hoc clerk to a Justice of the Peace in Vaud, an appointment that gave her practical insight into the work of the judicial authorities and enabled her to develop experience in drafting judicial decisions.

Following the completion of her studies, Alessia worked as an asylum procedure specialist at the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) between 2022 and 2023. In this role, she was responsible for handling complex cases in their entirety, assessing individual circumstances, and applying Swiss migration law.

She subsequently completed a two-year legal traineeship at a law firm in Lausanne, where she further refined her practical legal skills, with particular emphasis on drafting legal documents, managing complex proceedings, and advising clients across a broad range of legal and procedural matters.

Alessia is fluent in French, English, Italian and Portuguese.
